Entertaining Sport at Hastings
YESTERDAY’S EVENTS
A very entertaining afternoon’s sport was conducted on the Hastings racecourse yesterday afternoon by the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club, the occasion being the annual spring horse parade. Some very close finishes resulted, but some “sleepers” could easily be discerned in one or two of the events. The most interesting item was the running of the two-year-olds. .Results:—
