An application for an award was made to the Arbitration Court by the Auckland Fruit Preserving and Vegetable Canning f'nion. The waees of adult workers, except those working ae departmental foremen, having been settled. the onlv matters in d smite are hours of work, wages of youths and females. the rate for casual workers and holidays
