SOCIAL EVENING HELD AT CLIVE
A delightful social evening organis ed by St. Mark’s Bible Class, Clive, was held in the Clive Hall supper-room wnen a very happy time was spent by the large crowd present. The evening was spent in games, dancing and musical items.
The mutie for dancing was supplio.l by Mr R. Pell, Miss G. Gregory playing for some of the musical games.
Miss Mena Caldwell and Misses Margaret Hvllyer and Margaret Cushing rendered vocal items, and Miss Joan Cushing a pianoforte solo, all being greatly enjoyed. The lucky spot competition war wen by M.ss Alice Gregory and Hr Tom Ling. Mis. Rene Long won the guessing competition. On behalf of those prttent, Air Lindsay Gordon thanked the members of St. Mark's Bible Class for the enjoyable evening. A dedcicus supper was later served, and the singing of the National An them brought a very happy and successful social to a close.
