PRESENTATION TO MISS H. J. LONGLY

The combined staffs of Messrs. McCulloch, Butler and Spence and W. Richmond Ltd. met this morning to farewell a popular member of the staff, Miss 11. J. Longly, who, after 10 years, is severing her connecting with the firm to take up an important position in Napier. Mr. J. Angus, speaking on behalf of Messrs McCulloch, Butler and Spence, wished Miss Longly every success in her new sphere and asked her to accept, on behalf of the combined staff, a fountain pen and pencil suitably engraved. Mr. Edridge, for Richmond’s staff, also mentioned the regret of the staX at her departure. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. A. Hyde then entertained the staffs at morning tea.
