Struck by Falling Beams

Struck by two of the beams which fell suddenly from some piling he was cutting away at the Napier Breakwater, a workman, Mr W. Fenn, suffered concussion and scalp wounds on Wednesday afternoon. He was removed to the Napier Public Hospital, and a report from there last night indicated that he was progressing satisfactorily. Mr Fenn had been lowered over the side of Glasgow Wharf, and was engaged in cutting bolts from a section of spring piling there when it suddenly gave way, and bo was struck by two of lh« beama.
