CANNING UNION DISPUTE
Wages Question Settled (By 'Telegraph—Press Associalhon.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 17. An application for an award was made to the Arbitration Court by the Auckland Fruit Preserving and I egetable Canning Union. The wages of adult workers, except those working as departmental foremen, having been settled, the only matters in dispute are hours of work, wages of youths and females, the rate for casual workers and holidays (Proceeding.)
