Hokitika Man’s Services to

His Town

(Hr Telegiap6—Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Sept. 3,

A public gathering of citizens in the Town Hall last evening, the Deputy Mayor, Mr Leslie Michel, presiding, presented the Mayor of Hokitika, Mr George Albert Perry, 0.8. E., with a handsome illuminated address and a substantial piece of silver plate in recognition of 25 years continuous service as Mayor of the town. Very complimentary references were made to Mr Perry’s valued services to the town and district. He was the first Hokitikaborn Mayor of the town.
