BIBLE CLASSES
Combined Social Evening
Last evening St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Bible Class entertained the combined Anglican Bible classes in St. Andrew’s Hall, Market street. The evening was principally spent in games and musical items, everyone joining in to make the evening go with a good swing.
The Rev. D. J. A. Shaw extended a welcome to the visitors and hoped that many more such evenings would be held aud that co-operation would always continue, as it was by this means that so much was done. In reply, the Rev. K. Liggitt thanked sincerely the Presbyterian Bible Classes lor the very enjoyable evening that all had participated in, and hoped thut a return evening would be held m the mmr future.
Vocal solos were given uy Miss Hazel Millar and Mr B. I. Fulton, recitations by Miss Margaret Miller, and piano solos by Miss 1). Hnggitt, all being encored. After a splendid supper bad been served a contracted version of A. A. Milne’s ‘ ‘ The Boy Conics Home ' was presented by several of St. Andrew's seniors. Those taking part were Mr D. Robertson, Mr I. Suaddon, Misses D. Haggittt, N. Rodgers and B. Sonimerville. Mr B. 1. Fulton was M.C. “Auld Lang Sync,’’ followed uy cheers ended a happy evening.
