AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURE
Million-Pound Syndicate CANBERRA, June 17 At the invitation of the Commonwealth Government, a syndicate been termed to float a company with a nominal capital of £1,000,000 lor manufacturing aircraft aud aero engines in Australia. The Prime Minister, the Kt. Hon J H. Lyons, stated to-night that the syndicate includes the Broken Hui Iri prietary Ltd., Broken Hill Associated Smelters Ltd. and General Motors. Holden’s factory will be equipped with the most modern plant.
