Seymour—Hall

A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Takapau, on Tuesday afternoon, the contracting parties being Air Bernard fohn A. Seymour, of England, and Aliss 1 rances Eleanor Hall, daughter of Air and Mrs Hall, Alakaretu, Hawke’s Bay. The bride, who was escorted by her father, looked charming in a frock of deep cream satin, with long kimona sleeves and beautiful cream lace. The skirt was fitting and fell to a .:>ng train at the back, An exquisitely embroidered veil was held to the head by a fil'et of orange blossom. Satin shoes were worn and a shower bouquet o’ chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern was e- rvied.

The bridesmaids, Alisses Joan Pe,ry and Ngaire Hall (sister of the bride) wore frocks of pink georgette with slit raglan lace sleeves. The skirts were ankle length, with shirred godets let in the front and back and flowers were worn nt the neckline. Satin shoes a„d halos to tone were worn and they Curried bouquets of chrysanthemums. The flower girl, Aliss Betty Ila!) sister of the bride, wore a frock of pretty green georgette, shirred at the waist and with shirred puffed sleeves. The long skirt was finished with three frills. She wore a net halo to tone. The bride’s mother was gowned in maroon velv'et with black hat and coat and she tarried a posy in tawny shades. The best man was Mr C. Crumb and the groomsman was Air Leslie Thonip son. The marriage was celebrated by the Rev. 11. Blathwayt. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Public Hall, wdicr. AD and Mrs Hall received a largo iiuinbor of wedding guests and where the luasts suitable to lhe occasion were duiv honoured. Later in the al'teruoou Air and Mrs Sei moiir, aeeonipanied by all good wishes, and amid showers of euuleiti, left on a honeymoon tour.
