BON VOYAGE

Miss Nancy Carter Farewelled Clive Group About a hundred people met in the sjpper-roem of the Clive Hall to bid farewell and bon voyage to Miss Nancy Carter, who sails by the Monowai for Sydney, where her- marriage takes place to Mr Milton Gane. During the evening Mr Fred Williams, in a happy little speech, presented Miss Carter with a travelling rug as a small token of esteem from those present. Miss Carter suitably responded. The rest of the evening was spent in games and dancing, the music for the dancing being played by Misses Carter, Benson, Dockary and Mr R. Pell. The Monte Carlo was won by Miss Joyce Cross and Mr E. Cross. A dainty supper was served by the ladies.
