Guild of Fellowship Exhibits
On Tuesday last a special “familytreasure” afternoon was greatly enjoyed by members of St. Alaithew s Guild of Fellowship. The hall was well tilled, and it is pleasing to recoid that these guild meetings are a very popmar rendezvous lor newcomers to Hastings and those who appreciate a sociable afternoon
Canon C. Mortimer-Jones opened the meeting with a prayer and asked everyone to spare a thought lor those in hospital. Mrs. Mortimer-Jones, the “Guild

Mrs. Porter had made two boxes oi artificial Howers, bringing her contriuution to date to eleven dozen flowers.
Members were requested to bring scraps of material for fancy articles. Mrs. Barton Hobbs and rier son, Air, Russell Hobbs, greatly pleased the members with three very charming duets, all most melodious and bright. Airs. P. H. Burr and Airs. Nelson Fowler were hostesses for afternoon tea.
It was extremely interesting when one member after another came forward to show her “family treasure’’ and to say a lew explanatory words. All sorts oi rare silver, books. Ince, china, jewellery, and art were brought to the light of day, many “treasures’’ being several hundred years old and really valuable.
It was announced that Aliss C. Crich. ton-lmrie would speak next week
