BUDGET’S EFFECTS
Gilt-Edgeds Recover Well (Received 23, 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, April 22. The Budget chiefly affected gilt-edged stocks. Slight falls were registered, but later the markets recovered quickly from the initial declines. Dealers arc not disposed to mark down tea shares.
