From tickets distributed to selling agents through the Hawke’s Bay agency, the following prizes were wou in the ‘Happier Days” Art Union drawn on Monday last: —l £lOO, 3 £lO 26 £5 prizes. Tho sum of £202 2/1 was ihe total amount collected on Hod Cross Day in Napier recently, this revenue comprising street collections, donations and proceeds from the shop. The Napiei Sub-Centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society has placed on record the excellent work done by the V.A.D.'s and others who assisted in the strc< I collection and Uic shop.
