The sudden parting company of the back wheel of a sedan car from the remainder of the vehicle as it was turning the corner at the junction of Karan>u road and Herelaunga street, Hastings, last evening shortly after 5 o’clock was responsible for the gathering of a large crowd of spectators. The incident, however, had no more serious consequence than minor inconvenience to passing traffic until the car was removed from the scene by a break-down truck.
