The Princess Roval and her son Gerald are suffering from measles, says a London cable.
Captain H. White-Parsons, harbourmaster at Napier, left by the Rotorua yesterday on his annual leave and will visit various ports round the New Zealand coast.
Air. C. J. B. Norwood is making satisfactory progress toward recovery from the injuries he received in a resent motor accident. He has returned to Wellington from Christchurch by aeroplane.
Mr. G. G. Littlejohn, manager of the Christchurch branch of the National Bank of New Zealand. Ltd., who spent some time at the head office of the bank in London, has now returned and is spending a few days in Wellington.
Mr. W. H. Cadwallader, who has been in charge <> tl-e Labour Department office in Palmerston North since 1932. has received notice of his transfer on promotion (o Dunedin. He is to be succeeded by Mr. G. Brown, of the department’s Grc.vniouth office as far as the duties of inspector of factories is concerned, Hie work of the unemployment bureau being transferred to Air. T. Lane, of the Palmerston North office.
