NORTHLAND SCHEME
Dominion Tour by Rugby Team SPECIAL TRAIN PROPOSED (By Telegraph—Press Association,S WIIANGAREI, April 21. The North Auckland Rugby Union annual meeting resolved to favour organising a Dominion tour of a representative football team jto play matches in the chief centres between Auckland and Invercargill. The team would travel on a special train engaged for a fortnight, accompanied by, say, a hundred representative people. Arrangements would be mada for speakers to address meetings in each centre, outlining the potentialities of Northland. The co-operation of northern chambers of commerce is to be sought.
