Several Killed in Palestine Rioting EMERGENCY MEASURES By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. JERUSALEM, April 19. Biots followed the funeral of two murdered Arabs, during which Jewish crowds demonstrated, At Telaviv they attempted to force their way to Jaffa where they were repulsed by the police. Further riots occurred to-day. It followed from the reports that more Arabs were killed in retaliation oi Jewish casualties, A communique states that three rounds were fired to stop further murderous attacks. The total deaths are 10 Jews and three Arabs. Many Jews are leaving Jaffa, fearing further disturbances during the funerals. At Jaffa the High Commissioner was empowered to institute emergency regulations, and curfew was proclaimed at Jaffa and Telaviv.

The Arabs burned three Jewish buses and stoned five British subjects travelling in motor-curs, including the chief surveyor of Jerusalem, his wife and child, whom they mistook for Jews. The military are patrolling the streets of Jaffa, the shops are closed and the Government has taken over the telephone exchanges.
