Spillane Cup Tourney. The annual Rugby tournament for the Spillane Cup between North Island Marist teams will be held at Gisborne during the coming w-eek-end. Eight, teams have entered from Hastings Celtic, Auckland, Hamilton, Wanganui, Marist, Palmerston North, Gisborne (Marist and Celtic) and Wellington. The Wellington side won the trophy last year and is sending a, strong fifteen in its defence this week. * # * Diving Title Lost. To lose a title after having held it for 18 years is not easy. T. H. Morris, formerly the diving champion of Australia, has held the championship of the Melbourne Swimming Club for that time. Now he has lost it to G. Grant, who gave an exceptionally flrod display. Morris’s defeat came as a surprise to his clubmates.
