Little Change in Values at Hastings Sale The market for well-bred station store cattle found little change at Stortford Lodge yesterday. The yarding of SOi) head, which was considerably less than that offering the previous week, contained a few particularly good drafts, one of which was on account of Tutira Station. The well-grown young bullocks m splendid store condition made to £9 7/6. The draft was one of the most attractive offerings seen in the yards for some time. Some lines of 30-months and threeyear steers, in light to medium store order met with a quieter inquiry, with the result that passings were frequent. Forward cows useful for winter beef made £6 3/-. The following values for selected entries indicate the trend of the market. A draft of 28 3-year Hereford and Hereford cross steers fairly well grown and in medium store order, were passed at £7 12/6.
