Four Teams Entered For Competitions rrom Our Own Correspondent. PORANGAHAU, April 8. Four teams have been entered for this season by clubs in the East Coast Rugby Sub-Uniou, The season will open on April 18, and four rounds will be played. This was decided upon at the annual meeting of the Sub-Union. The electicti of officers resulted a« follows:—Patron, Mr Herrick; president, Mr A. W. S. Longley; vicepresidents, Messrs A. R. McLean, It. McLean, I’ongi Tutaki, S. Speedy’, J. Fraser, J. Morgans and C. A. llalea; secretary, Mr J. Basset; Hawke’s Bay representative for the sub-union, Mr B. Grenside; official gate-keeper’, Mr Fallahee; sole selector, Mr Jack Cook , chairman of the management committee, Mr A. W. S. Longley; club delegates, Messrs E. Cameron and F. Cameron (Weber), secretary J. McBeth; F. Scia Scia and W. Wakefield (Poho), secretary, T. Kuru; E. Butcher and W. Herbert (Wainui), secretary, E. Herbert; Jack Cook and R. J. Franklin (Wanderers), secretary, W. Scott. Permission was granted for the acceptance of friendly games from other Unions prior to the opening date. Referees nominatea were: Messrs S. Waugh, M. Butcher, C. Hobson, C. Scott, W. Wakefield, F. Scia Scia, J. Hales, and M. King. 1 he following draws were arranged: April 18: Boho v. Wanderers at I’orangahau; referee, Mr C. Hobson. Weber v. Wainui, at Webier: referee, Mr S. Waugh. May 2: Weber v. Poho at Woher; referee, Mr King: Wainui v. Wanderers. at I’orangahau ; referee Mr W. Wakefield. May 9; Wainui v. Poho, at Wainui; referee, Mr Butcher; Weber v. I’orangahau, at I’orangahau; referee, Mr Scia Scia.
