GOLF AT WAIPAWA

Official Opening Date From Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA., April 8. The Waipawa Golf Club will officially open the 1936 season on Monday afternoon at 1.30 pan., when a mixed Canadian foursome will be played. Members of other clubs are cordially invited, and are requested to arrange for partners. For club members a Stableford bogeywill be played during the morning beginning at 9.30 a.m. sharp. Tho club has purchased a machine for impressing the owner’s name on golf halls, and this should ensure the return of all balls to their rightful owner. Ju this regard lhe attention of all members is drawn to the committee’s ruling, posted on the notice-board at the pavilion.
