SHIPWRECKED JAPANESE

Four Boats Reach Thursday Island (Received 8, 10.45 a.m.) BRISBANE, April 8. Thirty-on. Japanese arrived at Thursday Island in four small boats. They were the crow of the Sampan Fukujyu Maru, which was wrecked last Friday about 150 miles south of Capo York. They were immediately taken in charge by the Customs authorities. The men are all destitute and cannot speak English.
