POWER CUT OFF
Another shut-down in the electric power supply in a portion of Hastings was occasioned during the lunch hour to-day as the result of trouble on fine of the main lines. Unfortunately it seems that a number of housewives were inconvenienced by the shut-down, for no warning had been given. Some people were obliged to have luke-warm lunches, and judging by the comment of one particular sufferer it was not greatly appreciated. His particular complaint was that no warning had been given. Ho contended that ns a regular consumer, lie was entitled to that consideration at least.
