Damage to his property in Burns Terrace, caused by slips, was the subject of a complaint 1o the Napier Harbour Board yesterday by a ratepayer who requested that his property be safeguarded. Ho added that he had sought legal advice, the opinion given being that the board was liable for the slips which had occurred or may occur. The board referred the matter to the reserves committee A donation of £'2 is to be made to the Napier Central Employment Committee for Youths bv the Hawke’s Bay Ibspital Hoard. The Harbour Board made a donation of £5.
