»''' Comedy roles for Frank Capra’s new production, the Gary Cooper-Jean Arthur vehicle, tentatively entitled “Opera Hat,” were filled recently by Columbia, when Warren Hymer and Raymond Walburn were signed for these parts. Prominent players already signed include Jean Dixon, Mme. Margaret Matzenauer, George Bancroft, Lionel Stander and Douglass Dumbrille. Mr Hymer, who was seen in Columbia’s “One is Guilty,” is among the busiest comedians in Hollywood. Last year he appeared in more than a dozen pictures and so far this cinema season he has been seen in “The Gilded Lily,” “Ono New York Night,” “Princess O’Hara.” and “Chinatown Squad. ’ ’ Coming directly from the New York stage, Raymond Walburn made his first appearance in Columbia’s “The Defense Rests.” Later ho was featured in “Lady By Choice,” “Broadway Bill,” “Shu Married Her Boss.” anil “The Lone Wolf Returns.”
