Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer announce the completion of four new productions. Details are as follow: —
“It’s in the Air”—comedy, with Jack Benny, Ted Healy, Nat Pendleton, Una Merkel, Mary Carlisle, Harvey Stephens, Charles Trowbridge, Grant Mitchell. Director: Charles “Chuck” Reisner. “Rendezvous”—Secret Service story starring William Powell with Rosalind Russell. Ccst; Lionel Atwiil, Cesar Romero, Binnio Barnes, Samuel S. Hinds, Henry Stephenson, Frank Reicher. Director; William K. Howard.
“The Perfect Gentleman”—Comedy with Frank Morgan and Cecily Courtneidge. Cast: Una O’Connor, Heather Angel, Richard Waring, Henry Stephenson, Doris Lloyd and Forrester Harvey. Director; Tim Whelan. “The T.ast of the Pagans”—South Seas drama with Mala and Lotus Long. Filmed entirely on location at Tahiti. Director: Richard Thorpe.
