TECHNICAL EDUCATION DRIVE
(Received 4, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dee. 3Mr. Oliver Stanley, speaking at Bir. tningham, revealed that the Government will introduce a seven-year plan of technical education costing £12,000,000 to bring technical education to tho level of Britain's competitors. The Government and local authorities would jointly share the cost.
