WEDDING

Waddington—Campbell

The Rev. J. A, Asher, M.A., performed the ceremony of marriage yesterday afternoon in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Napier, between Marjorie, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. B. Campbell, France road, and Edward Bristowe, only son of the late Mr E. H. Waddington and Mrs Waddington, late of Masterton.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a frock of navy and white figured chiffon cut with tight-fitting wing sleeves. A large shady white straw hat was worn with it aud she carried a bouquet of red “Marion Manifold” roses.

Miss Elsa Loudoun was the bridesmaid, her gown of wine-coloured chiffon being a replica of the bride's in style. Her hat was a shady wine straw and the bouquet of pink “Madame Loin bard” roses. The duties of best man were under taken by Mr M. 8. Spence. Appropriate bridal music was played by Mr A. W. Pacey.

On leaving for the honeymoon tour, Mrs Waddington travelled in a navy and white spotted marocain ensemble, the jabot, collar and cuffs being of red and white spotted marocain. With it a small hat of navy taffetas was worn.
