NAZI FOOTBALLERS
Arrival at London
(Received 3, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 2. A large crowd welcomed the Nazi football team at Croydon aerodrome. The manager emphasised that the team had come for the sake of the game alone and would behave as the guests of Britain in every sense the word. Sir John Simon, Home Minister, informed the Trade Union Congress deputation that he was taking all necessary police precautions to prevent a demonstration. There would be uu organised procession.
