COMPENSATION AWARD
£lOOO for Maori Children (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 24. A xerdict for £lOOO was awarded by the jury in a compensation case brought on behalf of four Maori children of Lorraine Enoka, who was fatally injured in a collision between a motor cycle he was riding and a car driven by Jean Catherine Dallas. The Chief Justice ordered that the amount should he held in trust by the Public Trustee for the maintenance and education of the children.
