A READER’S INQUIRY

Cleaning a Porcelain Bath

“Housewife” asks for the best method to clean a porcelaine bath and the following recommended suggestions are given in answer to this inquiry: Rub the bath well with cloudy ammonia or turpentine on a soft cloth and polish afterwards with a soft, dry cloth. Kerosene used in the same way is good for removing grease rather than stains. Never use anything gritty, but some of the very fine preparations which may be bought are good.

If any readers have any better suggestions to answer “Housewife’s” inquiry would they' please send them to “Penelope, “Tribune,’' Hastings.
