Flight Across America (Received 14. 8.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 13. Miss Laura Ingalls landed nt New York at 1.31 p.m., Eastern standard time, after a flight from Los Angeles in 13 hours 34 minutes 5 seconds. She beat Mrs. Amelia Earhart Putnam’s west to east women’s record of 17 hours 7 minutes 30 seconds.
