Faster is what the Church calls a movable feast. The fact of its being movable gives rise to much contemplation on the part of many people; occasionally it brings bewilderment, since from the layman’s viewpoint there is nothing to show when Easter Sunday may fall. Everyone knows that Christ mas Day always falls on the same day each year, but few who are not iu possession of a little book called “The Churchman’s Calendar” could say whether Easter Sunday will be celebrated in March or April. Next year it will fall on April 12, and Good Friday on April 10. Ash Wednesday, therefore, will come on February 2S. This cold weather means more relying on the good old Alarm Clock.
