Stoner Granted Reprieve (Received 26, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 25. George Percy Stoner has been reprieved, the death sentence for the murder of Francis Mawson Rattenby being commuted to imprisonment for life. After a five days’ trial, George Percy Stoner, aged 19, was found guilty of murdering Francis Mawson Rattenby, aged 67, a retired architect, on March 24. He was sentenced to death.
