Tho Hastings and Dannevirke High School Rugby first fifteens are to play a match on tho Hastings High School grounds next Friday. It is reported that the Dannevirke team, which will be accompanied by Mr. Henderson, is a very strong combination this year, and likely to make a close contest of the game. Cyclists Without Lights. Some time ago tho Hawke’s Bay County Council wrote to adjoining local bodies drawing their attention to the dangers arising from cyclists travelling without lights at night. The authorities were asked to co-operate to the end that such dangers should be minimised, and they have all replied expressing their willingness to do so.
