Governor-General Next Month ONLY SHORT STAY” His Excellency the General, Lord Galway, and Viscountess Galway are coming to Hawke’s Bay for a short visit on July 18 and leave next day. The Hawke’s Bay County Council has received word to this effect from Major A. Purvis, military secretary te the Governor-General. Their Excellencies will leave Rotorua on Monday July 15, and proceed via Whakatane, Opotiki, Gisborne and Napier, to Palmerston North, where they have an official engagement. Because of their itinerary, only a very short time will be spent at each place.
