OBITUARY
Mr. C. E. Gooseman Mr C. E. Gooseman, well-known trotting handicapper and secretary of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association, died at Hamilton early this morning after a brief but serious illness. Mr Gooseman was one of the most popular figures in the Waikato district. His unfailing courtesy and efficiency in all spheres of activity endeared him to a wide circle of friends. In his youth he was an all-round athlete, and in latter years was closely associated with various sporting bodies in tho district. Born in Auckland, Mr Gooseman was farming for over 25 years, coming to the Waikato some 15 years ago. He married 30 years ago. He leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters.
