Independent Candidate By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 21. Mr Edward Leslie Hills announced o-night that he intends to contest the
Lyttelton by-election as an Independent Labour Candidate. The writ for the election was issued to-day, and polling day will be Wednesday, July 24. The supplementary roll closed to-day.
