THROWN TO ROAD
Four People Injured MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS (By Felegraph — Frcse Association.) PALMERSTON N., June 21. 'Through the steering-gear of the car in which they were travelling becoming locked, four Wanganui residents received injuries which necessitated their admission to hospital yesterday afternoon. They are: —■ Hugh Humphrey, ICS No. 3 Line, internal injuries. Airs, E. Love, aged 79, of 105 No. 3 Line, concussion and wounds to scalp, face, and arms. Henry Paul’, 105 No. 3 Line, sOalp wounds. .Muriel Parks, Jubilee Home, shock. The accident occurred about 3.30 p.m., about a mile on tho Wanganui side of Bulls. The car was going along tho main road from Wauganni to Palmerston North when tho stearing-gear locked, causing the car to overturn several times. Tho four occupants wete thrown heavily from the vehicle. Dr. Duncan, of Waverley, who was travelling along the road at the time of the accident, rendered medical aid prior to the arrival of Dr. R. A. Church, of Marton, and the injured persons were conveyed to the W anganui Hospital.
