Need for Good Relations LONDON, June 20. (Received June 20, 9.30 p.m.) Sir Samuel Hoare, in fare welling Mr Tsuneo Matsudaira, who has been Japanese Ambassador in London, and Mrs Matsudaira, at a dinner given by tho Japan Society prior to their departure for Japan, stressed the fact that Britain’s desire was to remove difficulties between two enterprising races, which rightly were determined to leave their mark on world history. Mr Matsudaira urged the value of candour in contact In dispelling misunderstandings. He emphasised the importance of Anglo-Japanese friendship. Mr S. ,M. Bruce declared that the whole future of tho East and the Pacific depended on Anglo-Japanese relations.
