Novelty for the Victorians MISTAKEN FOR EXPLOSION (Received 20, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 20. Earth tremors were felt yesterday in southern parts of New South Wales and also in Victoria. A slight shock was felt at Melbourne, and was such a novelty that many people thought it was an explosion. Houses shook and windows rattled in parts of Melbourne According to observatory officials, the tremor was verv shallow.
