Anniversary Services

The Hastings Baptist Church is celebrating its 26th anniversary, commencing on Sunday next, and the celebrations will incorporate silver jubilee observances. There aro to be special services held, which a former pastor of the church, tho Rev. 11. E. Edridge, will conduct. Mr Edridge was very highly esteemed during the considerable time that he served the Baptist Church in Hastings and his fine record of effective service is remembered by a large number of folk. He will come from Brooklyn, Wellington, for tho entire period of the anniversary celebrations, which will comprise special services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. next Sunday, four evangelistic services on tho succeeding evenings, and on Friday, the 98th, the anniversary banquet, which will be the concluding function.
