The “Daily Herald’s’’ diplomatic correspondent says: The idea of sending Mr. Ramsay MacDonald to Washington as a sort of Ambassador-at-Large is being seriously considered. Mr. Stanley Baldwin, Sir Samuel Iloare, and Mr. R. A. Eden are all conscious of the enormous importance of close understanding and co-opera-tion between the Empire and the United States.
