INDUCTION AT OTANE

There was a vejy large congregation at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Otane, on Sunday afternoon, to witness Hie induction of Mr James Tod as elder, in succession to the late Mr A. H. Bull. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr Robertson, supported by the elders from Waipawa and Elsthorpe, Messrs F. Holt and J. Macauley. At the conclusion a Communion Service was held. Mr J. Tod undertaking the duties pertaining to the. office of elder for the service. It is very gratifying to St. “■el's ■ igregation that Mr J. Tod should l e raised to the dignity of an elder, an office so worthily filled for many years by his father, the Inte Mr James Tod snr.
