The Sherenden Branch The last meeting of the Sherenden branch of the Women’s Division of the Fanners’ Union was held at Mrs GAttwood’s home, Sherenden. A big log fire made the room very cheery. Mrs Eric Beamish presided over a good attendance of members. After the business part of the meeting, a very amusing time wag spent playing Lexico. A collection of produce was made for the Good Cheer depot. Two beautiful warm Peggy square quilts made by Mrs G. Mason were brought in to be forwarded to St. Mary’s Home. The next meeting i& to be held at Mrs Eric Beamish’s home, Whanawhana, on July 4. A delicious afternoon tea was pro- ' vided by Misses M. and N. Attwood, M. Doole and N. Connor.
