Princess Ingrid and Frederick
SCENES OF GREAT SPLENDOUR (Received 25, 11.30 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, May 24. Amid scenes of splendour and festivity Princess Ingrid of Sweden and Prince Frederick of Denmark were married in the “Great Church,’’which was decorated with hundreds of delphini 'ms brought from England by aeroplane. B xty-three royalties were present, including the Kings of Sweden, Denmark and Belgium. Britain was represented by Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught, Princess Helen Victoria, and Lady Patricia Ramsay. Princess Ingrid’s gown included lace which her mother, wore as a bride at Windsor.
After the wedding the couple drove through crowded and beflagged streets to the palace. They depart to-night for Copenhagen, thence on their honeymoon. Their destination is a strict secret.
