A Useful Treatment Does your jewellery look a little dull and drab at this time of the year? Try this treatment for bigger and better sparkles < — Diamond: Wash in warm, soapy water; or, dip in eau-de-Cologne several times, for a very bright polish. Emeralds, and Rubies; Wash in warm, soapy water, and dry with tissue paper. Pearls: Never wash. If dusty, polish with tissue paper. Pearls should be worn as much as possible, of course, and restrung at least twice a year. Silver and Gold : Jeweller's rouge will give tho best polish ; or, wash in soap and water and polish with chamois. Filigree Work: Wash in warm water and a, little ammonia. Polish with leather. Paste Ornaments: Soapy water and a soft brush will make them like now. Rinse in cold water and leave to dry.
