GOODWILL EMBLEM

A miniature Union of South Africa flag carried out in silk and having the Rotary wheel set in the centre was the goodwill emblem brought back to the Napier Rotary Club from the East London (South Africa) Rotary Club, and handed over by Rotarian T. M. Geddis at yesterday's weekly luncheon of the club. Mr Geddis recently attended the Empire Press Conference as one of the New Zealand delegates, and in the course of his tour attended Rotary luncheons at Cape Town, Johannesburg and East London. At East London he was called forward by the president, who handed him the flag and asked him to convey to the Napier Rotary Club greetings and best wishes.
