UNEMPLOYMENT DEPUTATION

Representations were made to the Mayor and borough engineer of Napier and later to the chairman of the Hawke’s Bay County Council yesterday morning by the Labour Party Committee acting on behalf of the No. 5 scheme workers of the district Mr W. E. Barnard, M.P., headed the deputation, which comprised Messrs J. Law, W. H. Dawson and A. Herbert. By both the borough and the county the deputation was assured that its representations would be considered in due course
